What We Offer
Academics
Most military families living in Florida are eligible for the Family Empowerment Scholarship Program funded by the state of Florida. CTK accepts the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship, Family Empowerment Scholarship, and Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities.
Transition
At CTK, we are proud to have a student-led transition team called the Purple Ravens, dedicated to helping incoming military students acclimate to our school community. This club, led by experienced CTK students from military families, meets regularly to plan ways to celebrate and support our military children. They focus on recognizing the distinct needs and valuable contributions that military students bring to our CTK family.
To support our incoming military parents/guardians, each new family is connected to an existing CTK family through our Family Mentor program. These mentor families help answer questions and welcome our new families to our community.
Events
At CTK, we take great pride in honoring our military and their families. In November, we hold a school-wide Veterans Day assembly to pay tribute to our veterans. Additionally, we celebrate the Month of the Military Child by recognizing our military children and families during Mass, and hosting our “Purple Up Dress Down Day.” This year, we are excited to introduce a quarterly Purple Lunch Bunch, where military-connected children can participate in a lunch hosted by a service member or their spouse.
Enrichment
At Christ the King Catholic School, we offer a wide variety of enrichment opportunities that help students grow beyond the classroom. Our extracurricular programs include academic teams, creative clubs, and faith‑based organizations, along with a full range of school sports and a supportive After School Care program.
