CTK is excited to announce our new hires for the next school year. Suzette Wilhelm is taking back her previous position as Science teacher for middle school. Marie Baert, a former Youth Director at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, will teach Religion to middle school. Uyen Le joins us from Notre Dame University to teach fifth grade. Amanda Robison (a CTK graduate and mom of a current CTK student) joins us as a second grade teacher. She was formerly with Digital Academy of Florida. David Yarborough (a CTK graduate) joins us as the Athletic Director & PE teacher. He has a Masters Degree in Nutrition and just finished working with the University of North Carolina’s athletes. Andrew Faulkner joins us as a part-time PE teacher from Resurrection Catholic School.
SUMMER MATH & READING HOMEWORK

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
On Friday, June 3rd, dismissal is at 10:30 AM. As a school, we go to Mass at 8 AM and conclude with an award assembly. Parents may pick up their students from Sheppard Square at 10:30 AM. There is no After School Care on this day.

There are just 5 spots left for the June 6 - 9th session and 6 spots left for the June 13 - 16th session for volleyball camp. The academic fee of $525 per student was billed to self-pay families for the 2022-2023 school year.

FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS
Here is the link to sign up for the Sports Physicals at CTK on Monday, July 20th: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f4daea72babfac34-sports. Every student in each family needs their own 10-minute slot for a physical. All paperwork must be filled out prior to your appointment. A Diocesan physical form must be filled out yearly in order to play a school sport.
NEW SCHOOL HOURS 2022-2023
Our Wednesday 2 PM dismissal will change to 2:30 PM next school year. These extra minutes will allow for a concentrated focus on writing in grades Kindergarten through fifth grade. Middle school students will have an opportunity to participate in an elective class ranging from Robotics, Kitchen Science, Musical Theater, Creative Writing, Sign Language, Competitive Sports and Liturgical Music.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
VBS will run from June 20-June 24th from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Registration form is attached.
Cost: First child $35.00, add $10.00 for each additional child in your family. Please send your payment in with your registration. Make checks payable to Christ the King VBS. Fees will go towards tee-shirts, snacks, and supplies.

EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS 2022
This year’s event, which will be held on Saturday, June 18th at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM, will include Mass with Archbishop Nelson Perez, Eucharistic Procession, and a keynote speech.
