THE BLESSING OF THE PETS
The Blessing of the Pets is a long standing tradition at Christ the King in honor of the feast of St. Francis of Assisi the patron saint of animals and God's creation. Friday, October 4th, at 8:00 AM, guardians and their pets are invited to Sheppard Square for a special blessing.
COFFEE WITH COMBS AT 8AM
Each Friday Mr. Combs is hosting a "Coffee with Combs" for a particular grade level. This is a casual gathering that allows you to ask administration questions about Christ the King. If possible, a teacher from your child's grade level will be available for a few minutes to help answer general grade level questions. So that you can plan, the schedule for the remaining grade levels is below. We understand that some of our parents cannot attend a morning session and we are working on plans for sessions that will accommodate your schedules.

BEE CLUB
The Bee Club will meet this Thursday, 10/4 from 3-4pm. Students must have turned in their signed release form in order to work at the hive. Please wear jeans,PE shoes and long socks.
PLEASE SUPPORT ST. VINCENT FOOD DRIVE
On Thursday, October 3rd please provide your child with a food donation for St. Vincent de Paul. Items requested include: Vienna Sausage, Tuna, Canned Vegetables, Dried Milk, Jelly and/or Peanut Butter.
CTK FIRST HISPANIC HERITAGE FESTIVAL ON OCT. 5TH
CTK is pleased to announce our First Hispanic Heritage Festival which will be held this Saturday, October 5th from 12pm to 2pm in the gym. Come and celebrate Hispanic culture with music, dances, delicious food tastings, student exhibitions, and much more! This event is free and all are welcome. Los esperamos!
NO MASS NEXT WEEK
The priests are out next week (10/7 - 1011) for their annual retreat. There will be No Mass next week.
YEARBOOK UPDATES
Good news! All students will get a yearbook this year! You do not need to order or pay. If you would like more than one copy for your student, then you will need to reach out to Mrs. Campbell.
Mrs. Campbell will also send out a letter to 8th grade parents/guardians later this year about how they can purchase ads in the back of the yearbook for their students.
Lastly, we need help gathering photos especially of basketball, cross country, and cheerleading.
VOLLEYBALL CONDITIONING
