SERVICE HOUR HOT TIP
Service hours absolutely must be "associated" with a sign up. Even if you leave a note. Otherwise, your hours are subject to a delay and may be rejected. Without the association, it is impossible for the approver to know who the supervisor was and if you have submitted before for the same event/task. If you are submitting via the app on your phone, it is a bit easier (I recommend this). You just go to "Associated event" and select the event you signed up for from the drop down menu. The drop down menu will populate with your sign ups. If you are doing it on a computer, it's a little different... This video explains it: https://help.trackitforward.com/help/log-hours-for-associated-event. Remember- Always sign up for a task or event BEFORE you serve. Signup, Serve, Submit. In that order."

YOUTH & FAMILY MINISTRY NEWS
TRUNK OR TREAT IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!
Details about food, activities, and schedule will be out next week, but NOW is the time to sign up to volunteer! We especially need trunks (candy is provided) and people to work during the event itself. Because of the number of people it takes to run this event, we offer bonus time to those who sign up and complete their shifts. Please note that Trunk or Treat and the 8th grade Haunted House and Dance are all separate events/sign-ups. Please do not double-book yourself! If you have any questions, contact the Chair, Stacey Wilson, at ctktrunkortreat@gmail.com.
HAUNTED HOUSE & DANCE
Eighth grade will be hosting the annual haunted house on Friday, October 20th (the same night as Trunk or Treat) in the gymnasium from 5:30 PM-8:30 PM. There will also be a dance for middle school from 8:00 PM-11:00 PM. We will be seeking donations for decorations, supplies and treats for kids. We will also be seeking chaperones and volunteers that night. All funds raised will go to fund the annual eighth grade graduation trip. More information will be coming soon. If you have any questions please contact homeroom teacher Mrs. Sands at deanna.sands@ctkschooljax.com
