What is SCRIP?

SCRIP is a wonderful and easy fundraising tool that gives money back to our school AND you. Through the SCRIP web site or from school/church, you buy gift cards for stores that you usually shop at like Wal-Mart, Publix and many, many more. You only pay the face value of the card. These retailers then donate a percentage of the gift card value to our school.

For example, CVS donates 7% to CTK. For a $25 gift card, that is $1.75. The school splits that amount with you, so that you can then use it toward academic fees/tuition the next school year. Imagine how this adds up when you continually order gift cards for stores you always go to anyway. The list includes grocery, gas, restaurants, movies, clothes retailers, book stores, I-Tunes and many more.

There are 2 easy ways to purchase SCRIP cards: online or through the school office.

Christ the King is a GREAT place for kids, staff, and families who like to be outside. Our beautiful location and Florida weather allow us to have ample opportunities to enjoy the natural environment around us.

But NO ONE likes rainy day pickup in the gym or sweltering in Sheppard’s Square during lunch. With your help, our fundraising this year can make those uncomfortable moments a thing of the past by installing shade over the picnic tables in the Square and an awning over the island between the dropoff/pickup lanes. The projects are expected to cost $60,000.

ONLINE ORDERS

GETTING STARTED FOR ONLINE ORDERS 

  1. Go to www.shopwithscrip.com 
  2. Choose the green Family Sign Up button on left side of screen
  3. Fill out form, you will be asked for the school code: FD36E56D4L79
  4. Once you are registered, you can begin to shop. 
  5. Follow the ordering schedule above to purchase physical cards. You can place your order any time in between the delivery cycle, but you won’t receive the cards until the next delivery date. 
  6. Submit order confirmation page and check to school (made out to Christ the King) on Monday. If you have paid with PrestoPay, you don’t need to do this step.  See below for more information about PrestoPay.
  7. Orders will go home on the delivery date stated below.

PHYSICAL CARDS 

Physical cards will now be delivered once per month. Schedule is as follows for order submission and delivery:

ScripNow AND RELOADABLE CARDS

  1. ScripNow – Hundreds of retailers (including Wal-Mart and Target) offer the option to buy ‘cards’ and then download the purchase to your phone OR print out the certificate from home. 
  2. Reloadable Cards – Once you have a physical card for some retailers, you can then reload them at your convenience.  This works well for gas cards because you can’t use a certificate at the pump. 
* You can do this at any time without regard for the schedule noted above AS LONG AS YOU ARE SIGNED UP FOR PRESTOPAY. 

You must set up an account before ordering online.  

IMPORTANT NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PRESTO PAY, YOUR SCRIPNOW AND/OR RELOADABLE PURCHASES WILL FOLLOW THE DELIVERY SCHEDULE ABOVE.  MEANING, THEY WON’T BE SENT TO YOUR PHONE OR ABLE TO PRINT OUT UNTIL THOSE DELIVERY DATES.

PrestoPay

Now pay on-line when you order – using ShopWithScrip’s PrestoPay. For just $0.15 per order, save yourself time and the hassle of a paper check, and pay with a virtual one instead. PrestoPay is not a credit card system, but instead uses the secure ACH electronic funds transfer system.

    1. Click on PrestoPay on the left hand navigation bar once you’re logged into the SCRIP web site.
    2. Register: Enter your bank account information in a secure environment.
    3. Verify: Enter the 2 small amounts that Great Lakes Scrip Center deposits into your specified account.
    4. Finish: Forward your approval code, delivered to you via email, to the scrip coordinator at ctksscrip@gmail.com.

Once you are approved by your coordinator, a final email will be sent as notification you are ready for online payment. To learn more, go to www.shopwithscrip.com.  This process does take 5-7 days, so plan accordingly if you’re going to use it for the physical card delivery option.

BUY CARDS FROM THE SCHOOL OFFICE

You can send your scrip order in with your child’s blue folder, with a check (or cash), on Thursday; the scrip order will then be delivered to your student’s class on Thursday or Friday before dismissal. Please include a call back number in case there is a question about your order. Cards regularly available at school are:
